In the wake of the day

Never have I ever to her a , ‘Hi!’ say

But when the moon is upright

She follows me everywhere with her light bright

Left or right, or, round or straight

She always walks by me as a true mate

She is the prettiest firefly I have ever seen

With the flickering light , shines like a queen

My friends think I’m out of my mind

She can’t be mine, as she’s not our kind

Bit I kno, everyone is jealous of me

’Coz she isn’t their’s, but my devotee

She never talks but silently winks

Still endlessly I talk to her at the hill’s brink

And tired talking, when off I go to sleep

She leaves silently without interrupting my sleep deep

Many days have passed since our first date

Today I’m not feeling well,God forbid unfortunate fate

My mother,and all my friends have come to see me

But amidst so many people someone really missed is, She

I request my pals to ask her to come

But everyone is mouth shut and numb

Suddenly, my beat buddies cry and start to say

“Your love is meaningless from the very first day.”

The love of your life is not a firefly

But is the Pole Star of the faraway sky

A tiny tear leaves my half-shut eyes

Still I smile and say, “Shut up! You jealous mic!”

With the smile fixed I leave dear life

With an unfulfilled wish to make her my wife

To honour me, everyone goes to see the pope star

They saw a New Star in its vicinity not at all far

Everyone had a teary smile on their faces

The love story till date everyone, amazes.
