“Not today!” said the chubby tiny baby bird

While watching television, eating paranthas with curd

But mama bird said she could wait no long

His flying lessons must start, but baby found this wrong

When the baby refused to stir even after it

Mama rocked the chair, making it difficult to sit

After all the failed attempts to convince mama bird

He started sobbing aloud, but to mama it was unheard

Mama picked him up by the collar of his shirt

He hung his head to surrender, as he was treated as dirt

Out they went & stood on the edge of the nest

Baby bird knew he’d die,so prayed, may his soul lay in rest

Mama held his hand & told him she was there

But baby thought she was bad, as she dint for him care

He wanted to leave her hand & go far away

But deep inside he knew without her there was no way

With a gentle peck, when his mama pushed him forward

His head cleared & he realised he was heading downward

Without much option left, he started flapping his wings

After sometime he realised he wasn’t falling, but flying in rings

He suddenly had adrenaline rush through his veins

This feeling was heavenly, like the first rains

He experienced the gush of excitement in his mind

One, never experienced by him, unique of it’s kind

Moments earlier, the same mother whom he cursed

Was now lovely, she too was in pride immersed

That day he flew, & returned home when it was dark

But could see pride in Mama’s eyes making them spark

All the moms; His, mine or yours

Have every solution, remedy & possible cures

So we should follow what she says

Or our lives would be no less than mess.
