The story of me and you
Is certainly strangest and new
The characters common but the relation not so
As one is the sun and other a flower which only once in a life grow
Every beautiful warm day
You bathe me with your every ray
You shine all day long for me
Coy flowering of mine you've to see
Everyday you wish I might flower soon
"Watchout, when I'm away!" you even tell the moon
But thinking of my flowering also raises a pain in your heart
Cry our story would end, shortly after the start
You wait and wait and wait some more
Afterall I flower after 120 years, which is galore
Everyday you come with your sweet smile
Never blinking, looking at me all the while
I'm never able to have a look at you
But your warmth soothes me and I know your love is true
I never have seen you throughout my lifetime
But feel you everywhere, in splashing water and bird chime
Of the countdown, today is the day zero
Now, I shall blossom from you, my hero
I thought I'd surprise you with my smile rare
But you were ready for my welcome with a rainbow, so fair
See that's the way the system works
One's heart knows when other gets jerks
Everything was great and too was the ambiance
Drizzling raindrops, a rainbow in the woods dense
We talked and talked for many days
But were heart broken, when goodbye were to say
When, it was time to bid farewell
You, who are shy, too came out of the shell
You held me with love and kissed me gently
Fireworks exploded for both of us mentally
I wanted that beautiful moment to never end
'Halt!' a message, to the ticking clock I wanted to send
I was in tears when you completely were set
My petals and leaves were all wet
But memoirs beautiful I too slept
Never to wake again, deep in the soil I crept
That was a Monocarpiic's memoirs
Whose life is unlike the chores of the choices
