How do i love thee?
Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth & breadth & height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being & ideal grace.
I love thee to the levels of every day's
Most quiet need,by sun & candle-light.
I love thee, freely as men strive for right.
In my old griefs, & with my childhood's faith
I love thee with a love i seemed to lose.
-Elizabeth Barrett
A being which makes the being in me human!
It's beautiful how I love thee because
when I love thee
I love me.
Everyone has good,bad & ugly
beautiful,repulsive & hideous.
It's through the prism of love
That we see the white light
(To the world,
so white,so ordinary!)
SCATTER.
Into all the colours the world is made of
so its that very light
but it’s the perception and the view which changes it entirely.
So beauty is indeed in the eyes of the beholder.
and it is not magic what you witness
You’re magic because you witness it.
We can love ordinary & make it look phenomenal,
& so can we turn the exceptional into plain.
All the colours
So majestic,so happy,so rich!
When we were kids back in the day
Did we not do this physics experiment;
Where there was a coloured disc which
When rotated with speed.
Great speed!
Turns into white again
(So white, so ordinary)
We grew up.
We aged!
but why did the age not ripen our brain?
Why cannot we just look at the coloured disc sometimes without disturbing it's harmony.
Even if the turning isn't progressive.
Why do we just worry about progress?
All the time.
Why cannot we just live that moment
when the disc is so vivid, full of colours
At peace,At rest.
Why does the naughty kid in us just hastens and keeps rotating the disc.
& simultaneously keeps getting annoyed of it's white colour
Why cannot the adult in us enjoy the colours, for once!
Or has the adult in us developed a liking for white!?
Is the blandness & dullness engulfing & addicting!
Are our insides filling up with nothingness of our hollow selves.
Let us lake a couple of moments to realise
THAT EVERY MOMENT LASTS A MOMENT.
Lets just stop.
And feel the air we breathe.
And acknowledge why
The lightness of being is unbearable.
It’s okay to stop for a bit and smile at where did we get after the hustle.
Look back once in a while.
See how far have we come.
The carousal can move a moment later.
A HIATUS PREVENTS A MOSAIC,
Afterall.
