Walking past the street one day

Something I heard someone say

In a hurry, I remember, I was

But did turn around, annoyingly my hair tossed

“This better be important.” I told the stranger

He smiled a nervous smile after sensing danger

That smile wasn’t perfectly gorgeous or adorable

But to me it was beautiful, just memorable

Suddenly all my errands I forgot

He took my hand & led me to a park

I was a bit scared cuz his mind erupted with naughty sparks

We reached a bench, & there we sat

From his pocket he drew out a letter & a toy cat

Gave it to me, & smiled his mesmerising smile again

Laughing heartily, I thought age age no-bar, men were men!

It was the most romantic & cute proposal of my life

And that too directly he asked me to be his wife

He took the laughter for yes, and kissed my cheek

He was so happy, that he staggered, as now his knees were weak

From then on whenever he sees me alone with a friend

He waves, smiles, blushes, blows a kiss & shouts,

“Hi Girlfriend!"
